Reminds me of the time 3 friends & I flew to England to visit Martin Newcomb's Museum of Synthesizer Technology in 1995. The most charming part was that though he was obviously a bazillionaire & we had just made an international flight and a long train ride to his country estate, he still charged us 10 pounds apiece to see the synths.
ReplyDeleteI would have paid 15.
Was this video taken at Martin Newcomb's Museum of Synthesizer Technology? If not, where?
ReplyDeleteAnyone know the story on why the meseum only lasted a couple years and folded?
ReplyDeleteNot sure what happened to them. I'm noticing a lot of stuff going up on YouTube with a link to thier new site: http://www.museumstudio.co.uk/ for some DVDs. I'm posting the YouTube stuff as I get them. Hopefully they don't mind - it's free advertising. : )
ReplyDeleteJust put up a post. Looks like they are still open but as a recording studio. I guess you could rent it out to explore and sample stuff.
