It's nice to see this kind of DIY support, especially since e-mu no longer supports the e-iii. I sold my e-iii keyboard in 1999 after several costly repairs.
I miss it, but some weird voice board problems cost me a small fortune. As an aside, I loved the little 16-track scratchpad sequencer in that machine. I wrote quite a few songs using only it an whatever sounds I had loaded at the time on the internal hard drive.
