I have like, so much Tangerine Dream on Vinyl and CD. A former room-mate did an electronic music radio show had piles of it, which I inherited when he moved above the arctic circle.
ReplyDeleteIt must have really sounded amazing in the 70's, but it doesn't draw me in these days.
Yeah, go figure. It seemed really pertinent at one time, and yet when you hear it now the early stuff just sounds like someone screwing around with mellotrons & moog sequencers, and the later stuff just sounds like chimpanzees jumping up & down on linn drum machines & PPG's.
