I am amazed at how rare they seem these days. I remember reading about that synth a lot in future music mag back when came out.
ReplyDeleteAnd how come we're still stuck with analog synths with 1 or 2 filter modes, check out how many this synth has!
No idea what it sounds like...
I played a lot with it on our modular meeting - it sounds very, hmm is there a word for the technoid "knarz" hi-overtone sound? to me it sounds great, the only thing is: it has only one OSC (with sub).. but the routing + filtermodes and the overall sound is very "saw-like".. I like it - well it is british, I like that kind of sound (a bit rough, somewhat different from others).. hope that helps.. hard to find words..
ReplyDeleteThanks moogulator for posting some info about it. Your site is amongst the best! (just like matrixsynth).
