Yamaha CS80 Art & Bernhard Döring

This one in via Frédéric. Not sure where this cool shot comes from. If you know please comment. I'll update the post when I hear back from Frédéric.

Update via Frédéric:
"I was surfing this morning in some forums and I have seen that. I love the dali-esque way of this ad."

  1. Oooops !
    The fault is mine.
I'm the one who said it was a CS60. Why ? May be because of too many sleepless nights surfing on Matrixsynth. Two rows of sliders, so obviously it's a CS80.
I've seen in april 1978 in Paris Vangelis in concert with two of these megasynths. It was so beautiful to hear...

  2. Fudger. Yes it is. I should know... Thanks for the link. Post updated. Do you know if Bernhard Döring actually did the piece or did he find the image elsewhere?

  3. That looks like the kind of Photoshop skill that is found in the SMS fantasy.

    Frederic Frederic Frederic...

Are you or have you ever been a card carrying member of the Communist Party?

    :)

  4. Funny, I thought the CS80 was drawn until you just said this Doktor Future. Blowing it up it's actually real... or is it? : )
