The knobs are the difference on mine... the older ones feel a lot more solid.
ReplyDeleteI was supprised about the quality of the knobs on the CP-251 (Moog version). For the price and the name, I expected pots with a more solid feel.
ReplyDeleteConsidering Bob Moog pronounced his name to rhyme with "vogue", I'm at a bit of a loss as to how "Moogerfooger" should be pronounced. Would the "fooger" part then have to rhyme with "ogre"? Or would the first and second half have two different vowel sounds?
ReplyDeleteI'm just kinda impressed on how much circuitry is in a Moog Voyager for a monosynth.
ReplyDeleteSo many parts.
Knobs on Voyager are okay, but CP-251 they are a bit looser -- should be better. Hate the switches on the Voyager -- would prefer springier clicky ones.
