It's a real question for me because I'm french and I can't really find good sounds of the Andromeda.
Steve Roach's STRUCTURES FROM SILENCE is one of my favorite ambient records of all time. All analog, simply beautiful/beautifully simple. The only record that has the effect I've been looking for in an ambient record, to knock me right the f#$k out into a state of bliss.
ReplyDeleteOne of latest records, POSSIBLE PLANET, was done entirely on a analog modular and is a total trip. You feel like your floating in the primordial soup of a planet long since forgotten by time.
He may have been lumped in with the Windham Hill 'New Age' crap of the eighties but he's an incredible talent and a synth programming wizard.
