  1. I was going to make a joke that you could save negative $2005 by getting a Buchla 259 instead, but I guess the Cynthia thing doesn't have its own fm oscillator, so you're looking at only saving a negative grand or so after it's all said & done.

  2. Well doktor, you have at least one don't you? I thought they were worth it at any price? Isn't the sound priceless?

  3. I get the feeling Doktor future puts down all the toys he actually owns in hopes that no one will steal his thunder.

  5. I bought mine at original prices. Then they went up 100 bucks or so. Then I read this 995. That's too much.

They are worth what I paid originally. A nice oscillator. Certainly not 'priceless', but they are pretty useful in a lot of circumstances.

So, to clarify, the device is excellent. One of the best oscillators available. However, even owning one, I wouldn't pay 995 for another.

  6. From $650 to $995 in less than a year. Hmm, It must be because shipping and electronic parts are sooo much more expensive now ...NOT!

  7. Some people pay $3300 for a Genoqs sequencer, or $2000 for a Schippman filter box. Or $500 for s Cwejman dual LFO. So why not a grand for a VCO?

    Some people, not many...
