PNW06: David Skinner Demo's his Modular

Ok, here's the first of a few videos I will be putting up on this year's Pacific Northwest Synth Meeting since my first post. I will preface the title of the posts with PNW06 so you know these are from the event. These two are of David Skinner showing his modular. P.S. That's not me asking the questions. : ) I'm just filming.

Note (4/19/2011): the following was originally on Google Video. I couldn't find the post here on MATRIXYSNTH, so I am adding it to this pot. See the pnw2006 label for more.

  1. To those who want a modular Minimoog.

  2. those Q960s are pretty different from a Minimoog.

  3. I owned a and the do sound VERY nice. They need more variety in the modules.

  4. Just buy Dot Com for your basic modules, and then buy MOTM/Blacet/Wiard/CGS/Modcan/Encore/etc for your more futuristic modules.

There's nothing wrong with a little frankensynth.
