  3. also...that creamware ASB sounded pretty bad, very harsh and digital...no comparison.

  4. Who is cutting these video's so damn short as to be useless?

  5. Booo on these short ass videos. What purpose does 20 seconds serve?

  6. Hm, only a 32 second clip? Not exactly enough time to compare anything to anything.

Did this video really have enough merit to warrant a posting?

  7. Regardless of this clip, I'm still vaguely interested in the Pro-12. A Prophet-5 was the first synth love of my life, but I've just heard too many repair stories to warrant buying one in 2006, especially when the PolyEvolver now exists.

  8. The ASB Pro-12 is a thin, steppy, anemic turd of a synth. That video is whack, too.

  9. The short videos are my fault. I have a DVD cam corder that records in full DVD quality video, so the files get large fast. I try to cut the video lengths down so I can upload them on YouTube. And personally I tire of long videos unless they are showing something new over time. What you see was pretty much it at that point in time. Stephen and John were trying to get that PWM sound going. Based on the feedback on this and the other post, I think I'll limit the videos on this site to the longer more obviously gratifying videos with links to the rest if you want to see them. I have a ton of short video clips of John Bowen talking about Sequential Circuits history for example.
