Title link takes you to shots pulled via this auction. Anyone know what joystick studer modules are? Note the auction is for 6 Moog knobs, the matrix pictured, 8 pin connectors, and the Joystick Studer Modules.
the modules are definietly quad panners (notice LF RF LR RR labels). Possibly from an old Studer console, but maybe not. Old mixers can be very mysterious. Searches often come up dry. My theory for this is that many old mixers fell into obscurity well before the documentation could be digitized. Unlike synths, they don't have legions of fetishists trying to figure out every detail. I maintain that the best bandpass filter I have heard lives in my 150+ lb "ARIES" 24tk mixing console that appears to be from the 70s. In 5 years of searching, nothing has come up except a kid on a forum debating whether or not to buy one (fitting the exact description of mine) from a used gear shop. He also complained that there was absolutely no information to find.
