Looks like minime123 is
auctioning off a motherload of synthesizer docs, books and magazines. Title link takes you to the shots pulled via the auctions for future reference.
Update: minime informed me that these are all originals and not just scans. I updated the title to reflect this as well.
I've got those Roland instructional books. They're kooky.
ReplyDeleteFor some of the books I recommend searching at abebooks or alibris. The Howe book can be had (last time I looked for under $5). I'm not saying the quality is the same - it may be better or worse - just stating that some of these books are available elsewhere at perhaps better prices.
ReplyDeleteAlso the Allen Strange book listed in the auction looks like a reprint - the cover is not like either of the two original editions. There has been comments on AH in the past few months about getting this in pdf form for around $15.
Yep, I put that up when it came in on AH. Here's the post.
ReplyDeletehi guys.
ReplyDelete"not even" - sure, you can spend your time hunting around and may find a couple of these books for less than the fair starting bids, but some of them sell for MUCH more, especially when used book dealers on the sites you mentioned offer them.
last i checked, these were a few of the higher prices i saw for a few of the books being auctioned:
Experimenting With Electronic Music by Robert Brown & Mark Olsen for $304
and The Complete Guide to Synthesizers by Devarahi was going for $199
The Art Of Electronic Music $125
the strange book is listed on the auction page as the 1997 edition (Courseworks). this is not an ebook / pdf.
