Analog Haven has been trying to sell one of these for several weeks. They have it at $1900. I'll be watching this auction.
ReplyDeletethey look cool.. sound is just okay tho.
ReplyDeleteWhat's interesting is the GMedia ImpOSCar is one of my favorite soft synths it not the favorite because of it's sound. It sounds pretty unique compared to other synths. Very alive sounding. Hi-fi fizzy almost. I wonder how the OSCar compares. My guess is it has more grit and sounds rougher around the edges. The odd thing is this is not the first time I've heard that it's sound is not spectacular. I wonder if it just takes a little more work to get the sounds that make it special.
ReplyDeleteI tried out the one they had at Analog Haven for about an hour. I didnt find any spectacular sounds like the Voyager or PEK had.
