All the knobs, including Volume and Drive, go to 12 on my amp. I think all fender amps are like that?
ReplyDeleteI hear 13 is the new 11.
ReplyDeleteEither way, 12 won't do cuz it's not a prime number.
Ryan, now that you mention it I think that might be the case. I had a bass amp for my synths and I think it did go to 12. Anywho, the post was obviously a reference to Spinal Tap. It's almost time for me to watch it again. BTW, if you like Spinal Tap check out the directors' other movies like Best In Show and Waiting for Guffman. Good stuff.
ReplyDeleteThe Peavey VMP-2 also goes to 11. I'd imagine these two are not the only ones to adopt the easy but satisfying "one louder" joke.
ReplyDeleteMine goes to 12, but you have to rub it a bit.
