  1. I was very fortunate to visit Disneyland in Anaheim, CA while they were featuring the "Electrical Parade". They had speakers all over the place, on the train itself, and in the trees and neighboring buildings. Each speaker played only a few voices of the Switched On Bach inspired track. It was really Moogy. I was thrilled to hear these bold Moog sounds coming from all over the place, and they sounded really clear and clean. I'm not sure how they recorded the soundtrack back then but it was definitely multitrack, and I'm also not sure how they synched the train to the surrounding building's soundtrack: I remember theorizing that it was radio broadcast. It was an amazng night, I remember being surprised to hear such old style synth music and I found out later that it was an old show that they brought back.

  2. Yeah, I used to go when I was a kid. Absolutely fantastic with the music and the lights going. Pure sparkle.

  4. That used to be my favorite part about going to Disneyland as a kid. I used to know dudes that would 'bump' that music on their car systems in high school back in the day...

  5. I just came across this...all I can say is thank you so much! Growing up in LA I spent many nights a year enthralled with the Light Parade. This really brought back some great memories. :-)
