its good but such a shame you can hear that terrible "your the voice" song in the back ground
ReplyDeletedoes the Buchla synthesizers really works or provide great sounds?
ReplyDeleteThe quietest demo a I ever heard for a synthesizer.
Looks fun! I hope they make a new Easel, I'd get two.
ReplyDeleteIt was a bit quiet for sure.
ReplyDeleteI love that "you're the voice" song because I used to play with that sample on the Amiga way back. Brings back cheezy memories.
I liked the dude's glasses (on such an angle). Very geeky. Geeky demos are more fun (really enjoyed the Schippman (sp?) one too).
This video taught me that the Buchla isn't about Banjos, but rather, about 'Navigating Complex Timber Spaces (that sound mostly like banjos)'.
Why do we spell it timber but pronounce it TAMber? Why do we make it so tough on ourselves.
i agree about the timbre pronunciation...i equate it to the english system of measurement....why don't we just make it easier!!!??
ReplyDeleteon a side note, i really enjoyed that video and would love to own/play a 200e.....but i'll be damned if i ever buy an album which uses it.....
afterall....i really don't even enjoy listening to electronic music, I just love playing with electronics that make sound
plinky plinky plinky plinky plinky plinky plinky plinky plinky plink
ReplyDeleteit's the most overblown way of going 'plinky plinky' that could ever be conceived.
ReplyDeleteit's like purchasing a Boeing 747 because you need to find a way to get to the shop 3 blocks away.
