  1. Read the Features bit:

"Conceived and designed by BEHRINGER Germany"

  2. For those unfamiliar with the original, it looks to be a clone of the old Boss DC-2 Dimension C, which was the pedal version of the wonderful Roland SDD-320 Dimension D. If they do a good job of cloning it I'd be very, very tempted to buy one... and I hate Behringer. It's a fricking great sounding effect, a not so secret weapon of many pros, and the old racks and pedals go for a lot on ebay.

  3. i hate behringer

as if this plastic digital piece of crap copy will ever act or sound like a real metal analogue (bbd) boss dc-2 (which i own and love)

  4. The latest crop of Behringer pedals is getting a lot of talk on various guitar oriented forums given things like this, their clones of the early Boss pedals the SG1 Slow Gear and SP1 Spectrum, as well as their Electro Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man clone/ripoff. Some folks find it amusing a bunch of newbie guitar players, who are the main target for cheapies like these, will be exposed to copies of oddballs that are pricey on the used market.

  5. It's lame if they are going to model it that it does no more than the original's presets. Also if they are modeling it then it's kind of lame that every fake Roland pedal must be the same hardware with a different ROM.

And if it's a clone then I'm more impressed but still they should have taken it further if they can actually rebuild a more complicated pedal like this one.

The Roland/Boss effect really is wonderful but I at least pull my hair out that I can't get inbetween the presets, change the speed or get a fifth setting like the III setting on the RS-505, which is Dimension D sounding but way stronger and deeper.
