ReplyDeleteI just don't get what is so cool about the Elektron stuff. Maybe I need to play them first hand to see what is going on.
ReplyDeleteThe only Elektron based music I heard which I liked was 1 song by Konvert. And it may have been a remix.
I didn't really understand what was going on in this video... The sound was kinda bad probably because namm is very noisy. Still, thanks for posting it, it was nice to see.
ReplyDeleteWhat i think is cool about Elektron gear is that it does stuff that other gear does not do very easily. For example you can interlace 4 lfos in the sidstation. If you sync those lfos to midi clock, each with a different speed, you get crazy things. Elektron gear is quite flexible from what i can see.
If you can try these in a store, do it. You might like their gear.
