Mixed Modular Demo

Saw this one over on the HC forum. I asked J3RK if I could post it and he gave me the clear. For more check out this HC thread as well.

"SPLAT

Everything is timed to a single square wave LFO (with lots of splitters coming out of it)

One sine wave output from an uncalibrated Model 15. (calibrating tomorrow) Pitch is modulated by an envelope to make a kick drum. This is routed through one channel of the Quad VCA module.

The other model 15 has a saw wave going to a Miniwave using a fairly crunchy digital waveform, and then into the Boogie Filter. This is routed through the second channel of the Quad VCA.

I have a sine wave coming out of my Filthy Filtre (at self oscillation) going into one of the CV controls of the Dalek Modulator. This is going to the third channel.

The VCS module is slewing the signal of the wheeeppeeeepp sound, and opening and closing the third VCA channel. I've got everything routed to everything else for FM control (VCOs, Filters, etc.)

Basically the thing is playing itself, and I twist a few knobs here and there...

Anyway, the point of the post is just that I find it interesting how much you can do without sequecers or keys, or just when you take things away from yourself and say "create with this..."

Edit: Forgot, the reverb and delay are from my TC M-One-XL. No other effects were used."

I put it up on Twango so I could embed it here. It's also available directly via J3RK and backed up here.
