I don't really know much nor think much of what other's have to say about the Buchla 200e... but I love the track... banjo? I like the fact that it sounded so "organic" and only synth tones... felt like someone scraped on some strings with voltages... and if anyone listens pass the "plucking" all the drones, hum, buzz and sweeping synths and "prepared piano" styled sounds... it's fabulous, beautiful... I am guessing John Cage would love this instrument... But who am I to assume? :)
ReplyDeleteI guess I would prolly never even have the chance to touch a Buchla 200e...
i have nothing to say and I am saying it
ReplyDeleteI went back and listened to this a second time, and I really like it. Good use of space, and nice timbres.
