  1. Impressive, but I always wonder why people don't get a direct feed of the audio instead of letting a camera mic capture it. The audio in many YouTube videos quite frankly sucks buttocks.

Also, this particular video has a very choppy framerate, which for something with little to no actual action seems quite strange.

  2. Dude, your playing is phenomenal (from this layman's perspective at least) but I gotta concur with mibrilane, the crappy frame rate really took away from my ability to appreciate the performance as much as I could've. I'm just confused because in your "Hot For Teacher" video the video was ALOT smoother, really helped to let people appreciate your dexterous playing. Regardless, the medley arrangement was great and the fact that you did it all in one take is pretty awesome. Kudos!

I think we miss the "Angel don't cry" solo from Toto !!!!

  4. I used an iSight for both vids.... I can't figure out why the framerate got all choppy either.

If anyone has any hints for video compressing, that'd be very appreciated.

I don't have any big fancy A/V equpiment... don't even know how to get a direct audio feed into the computer.

Hints & suggestions can be sent to dave at fark dot com. Thanks!

  5. YouTube is notorious for crappy audio sync on videos.

  6. Yeah, but if you export from QT or iMovie as an MPEG, the audio syncs up fine.

What sucks is when programs squish it down to 320x240, and then YouTube stretches it back up to 425xwhatever. So it's always blurry.

Still not sure why this one's frame rate got all choppy versus my last one. I didn't do anything different with the process. Being a n00b is unfun.
