  1. I remember reading somewhere that in the 1980s Mr. Moog used the Synton system on the lecture circuit. I guess it was easier to travel with.

  2. Bob's company Big Briar was the US distributor for Synton modulars and vocoders in the early 1980s.

  3. And Synton was the dutch distributor for Moog in the 80's. That's why the Crumar Spirit and Synton Fenix got almost the same specs. Bob Moog and Bert Vermeulen used to change idea's once a while around that time.

  4. a system of the exact spec as the one in the picture resides in the moog factory workshop to this day. right next to the multi-filter array rack module he built decades ago that would later be used as the basis for the MuRF pedal.

  6. Yeah my bad i die mean the Synton Syrinx instead of the Fenix. I should not post early in the morning after a night at the bar. :)
The modules of this modular are for aprox 99% based onc CEM ic's and uses banana connectors as well. Marc from who lives in Amsterdam now got a system likes this to. With 4 Fenixes. I think the got almost type of modular serie Synton ever produced back in the days.
