Haha, it's Jan Hammer only not fat and bald!
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the stuff we used to jam on in my folks double wide growin up as a kid... Almost famous... Them was the days... I'm gonna watch this wasted and maybe shred a little bit afterwerds.
ReplyDeleteRock on brother,... rock on...
For a guy into drawing, he sure doesn't have much on his walls.
ReplyDeleteEverything's done on a Wacom tablet these days, anonymous.
ReplyDeleteBack in the day though, everything was on paper first...
And anyway, those are just doors behind me in the vid; not a good wall for hanging. But the closet behind those actual doors has a massive document organizer filled with 10,000+ inked drawings on paper. For what it's worth.
Thanks for the link, Matrix!
Dang... just recalculated. At an average rate of about 500 individual drawings per film, after 45 films I've got about 22,500 drawings collecting dust in that closet. Most are pretty small... maybe palm-sized, and there are as many as a couple dozen on one page of paper.
ReplyDeleteHoly frosted Christcakes but my hands hurt.
rock n roll dude ..... its dead
ReplyDeletenice playing though
is it just me or is it Americans use synths for rock, all other countries use synths for electronic music? yes/ no
ReplyDeleteoh except for the detroit guys
ReplyDeleteYeah, you're right, there's never been an electronic group coming from the US (except detroit and the crystal method), now we know why!
ReplyDeleteI just find it refreshing to see a synth video with a dude with actual chops.
ReplyDeleteProps, Dave, mother-f-ing props.
Rock &/or roll is not dead!!
its a thing of the 50,60,70s its dead nothing new there, alternative, punk metal its all rock n roll d e a d rip bye bye no more
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Dave. You actually have time to practice. Lucky bastard.
ReplyDelete(Ignore the critical comments here, they're just jealous).
Well, not a fan of Roll and Roll but I enjoyed it! Thanks Dave!
ReplyDeletehow can you be jealous of something you are not interested in?
ReplyDeletehow can you sound so petty and juvenile without saying very much?
ReplyDeletewow that was refreshing! some actual MUSIC and not the usual knob twiddling noise that is so prevalent these days. thanks for that dave!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the best prog compositions and generally sh**t hot bit of keyboard playing i have seen in a while nice one, serious chops...
ReplyDeleteJB is mean... pooh...
ReplyDelete...and all those mean anonymous postings are mean. This guy has a great time and is a wonderful player beyond ANY doubt!!! Check out his comics they are absolutely wonderful and hilarious and don't think for a second he's not on to what people might think about certain styles of past or future music or anything!!!
ReplyDeleteThis guy is clever and loves what he loves and is GREAT at it!!!
Here ye!!!!
Gosh, thanks!
ReplyDeleteBut don't think for a minute that anyone who makes something called "Retarded Animal Babies" isn't used to more than a little public flack.
My Parallax stuff is no different. All I can really say in its defense is that I don't see anyone else doing anything like it on YouTube, and that place isn't too bad a cross-reference of folks in general.
Dare to be different. Dare to suck. Etc.
dude, where's your cape? the threads don't match the music AT ALL. if you are going to play this horrific, Caucasian, boring-30-years-ago, unmusical nonsense, at least get your LOOK right.
ReplyDeleteI must have left it in your Mom's trailer
