the guy selling it is straight up, i'm sure it's as described. I just make sure it doesn't contain any parts that are no longer available etc.

ReplyDeleteA horrible price for a notoriously unreliable piece of gear. BTW - just because New Order used one doesn't mean the V8 was any good nor does it mean you'll sound like New Order.
ReplyDeleteMr. A... have you ever had one? The rev 3's had many issues, this is a rev 4 and is a VERY nice piece of gear.
ReplyDeletePricing is a personal thing; this box may be worth $100 to you, but obviously someone thought it was worth $2600. I paid $1500 for a rev 3 over 10 years ago, spent $700 with PeterL in NYC to turn it into a rev 4. The only reason I sold it was 'cause I needed the money at the time... I think my buddy paid $1800.
Opinions are also a personal thing... I accept yours, but I think it's misguided.
