Cool... after owning mine since 1984, I never noticed how similar the PWM fader can sound to a ring modulator for the square wave.
ReplyDeleteIf there's any other Juno-106 owners out there, has anyone ever noticed the "Easter Egg" functionality for when you hold Poly 1 & 2 down together? Takes a bit of wiggling, but if you can get both lights on, you'll enter an ugly unison mode.
Since there's no other true unison on this board, I've used this hidden functionality numerous times over the years, even though the tone blows. Sounds OK neat a distortion/wah pedal (or Butt Probe) though!
I have mine since yesterday!!!
ReplyDeleteActually the Unison mode is not an easter egg. This function is described on the manual! Page22
