That program is so lovely.
ReplyDeleteSeems Fruity Loops is about 15 years behind everyone else.
ReplyDeleteWhat a boring demo!
It would have been nice, if they'd actually shown some of the NEW stuff in fl7.
ReplyDeleteYes, from the demo one clearly could conclude it's pathetic :) It's really not lame at all.
ReplyDeleteIn reality, FL has many excellent and useful capabilities that suit my workflow.
Like the Buchla, FL seems to polarize people That means it's great for some (like me) and not for others--etter than being the same old DAW features regurgitated.
The main thing that got me to leave FL was the organization of the sequences as well as the effects. I found it too time consuming to make multipule patterns as well as keeping track of which efect went to which channel. Ableton is much much better IMHO. Also, until version 6, FL was about 10 years behind everyone.. as a loyal user I felt cheated.
ReplyDeleteI made this with FL 4 or 5 or something about 5 years ago or so.
ReplyDeleteIt has a long lead-in (like 1/2 the bloody song), so feel free to 'fast forward':

still pc only.. ;(
ReplyDeleteBring it to osx with 1ms latency and with rewire, au, and vst support and charge $45.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds better to me than Reason IMHO.
