  1. Bit of an unfortunate date for bids, had it not been for Paul Schreiber's involvement - April 1st.

Not saying it isn't worth it but that is a lot of money. A LOT.

  5. It's not complete! There's a gap for a module in the upper section!

    It's so close to perfection!

Also, no frequency shifter? Isn't that one of the sexiest modules?

  6. my thought on the empty spot is:
He worked so hard with KL to put in all new power wiring but he didn't leave a empty power connector behind the empty spot! that makes no sense to me whatsoever....
it's like re-building a house with the intention of putting on an addition with a new bathroom but not bringing up the pipes from the basement despite having the house all ripped apart!

  8. 31500.00 would buy a hell of a Dotcom system

  9. a) There was a 2-wide module there after the wiring. I traded it for the 912.

    b) I never said Kevin did the wiring.

c)these ARE stock Moog cabinet, not the older walnut ones. Moog used up all the walnut on the MiniMoog.

As usualy, Jay makes 3 mistakes in 4 posts.

  11. where are the trigger/cv routing switches for the top cabinet? they're kind of important.

  12. it has extra 2 extra envelopes and an extra VCA. this would be a great system for that price, according to the way they sell, especially with all of the 60s era modules in full calibration involved.

    Huh?

  14. a) Jay falsly accused :) (the hat threw me off).

    b) I added the list of bottom cabinet modules. It's too much of a pain to move it to get the bottom serial tags/dates. I will though when it's about to ship so that there is a record of what was bought.

  15. I'd buy it, but I really don't have room for it in my bedroom.

    And the 31 grand.

  16. why do you say "There is 1 empty space in the top cabinet with a blank panel installed." when clearly the pictures show different?

  17. Given the fact that the new Buchla systems are selling, I guess some people can throw as much money at their synths as most people spend on cars. Like high end vintage guitars, it was bound to happen for the classics.

It looks magnificent, I'm sure it will make someone who loves the real Moogs very happy. But I personally would spend that money on a modern modular and studio upgrades.
