Suzuki SX-500

Details:
"Here we have an ULTRA RARE Suzuki SX-500 synth module, fully working & tested. This impossible to find vintage analog synth is identical to the Siel EX80 synth expander but re-badged under the Suzuki brand name. This auction also includes the Suzuki SX-500P foot pedal ( program change & damper pedal ) & original external power adapter."

  2. It's an interesting piece just because of its obscurity, but it sounds very similiar to the Poly 800.

  3. I actually have one of these little bad boys.

    More interesting than it's obscurity is the fact that *EVERY* parameter responds to a unique midi cc.

    Check the files folder on the Atari MIDI Yahoo group for a file I created that has every parameter and the correspondoning midi cc.

    The real bonus to this thing is that if you do happen across one outside of eBay, they're stupid cheap.

  5. Thas right, I found mine at a "Daddy's Junky Music" about 7 years ago.

    They have an SSM Filter IC. There is a mod that replaces one of the resistors that sets the maximum resonance with a front panel mounted pot/knob that allows manually increasing the resonance. Since it's an SSM filter, it can *really* squeal and it will not oscillate.
