Details:
"This is a super rare Yamaha FX-1 electone organ piano key board synthesizer SN 1134 Wow I have one! not many made and not many left i was told less the 15 in the US and no more the 20 in the world cost over $45,000 in 1983 i also have the TX-1 amplifier tone cabinet the serial 1666 which is included and the pedals
The Yamaha FX-1 isn't really an organ, but, in this case, a group of polyphonic digital synthesizers, based on Yamaha's DX FM synth technology. Various level and balance controls are operated by sliders, and the sliders are automated, so that when a preset is recalled, the sliders actually moved to the preset positions"

  5. I'm the guy that bought it. I had it moved April 22 from the prior owner's condo in Orange, to my office in LA. Still haven't completed the cartage charge with the company that knowing what was being picked up, and how much it weighed sent one guy, in a lift gated truck, with no dolly. I had to reschedule the pickup, this time with three guys, and that was still a struggle getting it from the freight elevator, to where it now resides in front of my desk. It can't be left on for very long without freaking out. Random digital noise, and all leds flashing. Not a pretty sight, or sound. It does have a reset function, but there was a time last month I thought Yamaha would have to be contacted to attempt a resurrection. I now just play it a few minutes daily, and all’s well. A museum piece really. Everything it does, could be put on a single chip now, but it’s still very impressive.

  7. You should still be able to see the final listing. Click the "this auction" link at the top of this page. It goes to the first listing, which closed with no one bidding on the $8000 minimum. Click the "relisted" listed link, and click the next relisted link again, and you'll see what I paid. Check the bid history detail. If none of that works, it was $1692.
