GOOSE
video upload by Skint Records
Bass Guitar, Drums and Teisco 110f. That's one hell of a good sounding synth to me.
Anyone know if these tracks indeed only featured the Teisco?

I like that they seem to adopt the synthesizer in its monophonic lead form. that's very much in touch with the true calling of these instruments in my opinion.
ReplyDeletesynthesizers these days are most often used as awkward gimmicks and it's good to see them in all their tone's glory as the centerpiece to a song, like gary numan figured out earlier.
cool.
I saw these guys open for Gary Numan's Telekon tour in London last December. I believe there were 3 Teisco keyboards on stage, which blazed over the drums & guitars.
ReplyDeleteIronically, though Numan was playing the entire 1980 Telekon album, his keyboard guys were using a mix of General Midi & virtual keyboards, which sounded adequate during song intros but were quickly swallowed up by the Les Paul-driven rock rhythm section.
Hopefully in 25 years these Goose guys won't forget the lesson.
Yes they did use the teisco.
