If You Are Having Trouble With This Site on a Mac, Read This Post
It's come to my attention that the YouTube videos are not working for some in Safari and Firefox hangs. It turns out this is due to some compatibility issues with Flash. If you update Flash to the latest version it should take care of it. Thanks goes to Ron for finding the solution to this one.

Updating to the latest flash does not solve the firefox problem
ReplyDeleteAgreed. I just did the update and I'm still having severe problems with hanging on load.
ReplyDeleteHey man
ReplyDeleteI f you will ever need any comprehensive russian language service - just email me. I was born in russia and lived there for 20 years (im 24 now) and my mom is a russian language and litereature teacher. Also im a synth nerd, so i would do such a job with love and passion. Just email me if you are interested. My email is filteredb(at)yahoo.ca
Any of this sound like the problem and/or help?
ReplyDeleteit works for me in Safari better.
ReplyDeleteBut it is good in a way to know other people are having the same problem I am with Firefox.
I thought of something else. I wonder if Firefox is hanging on the YouTube images. If Firefox on Mac waits until the whole page is loaded and the call to YouTube for the images is hanging, this could be the problem.
ReplyDeleteAlso, try updating Flash in Firefox as well. In XP for example if you update Flash for IE, Firefox is not updated and vice versa. You have to update each independently.
I find that if you just open the specific post with a video in it that you want to watch ina new window, then it works ok.
