  4. i bought both, swapped the panels, and sold a gray-end tribute on ebay for $150 more than they sell for new.

    there's schmucks everywhere!

  5. I got to play one at Sam Ash here a few weeks ago and I was surprised by it. Thank god they went with a soothing orange/yellow color instead of fucking retina burning blue LED backlighting bullshit.

  6. I actually prefer the blue lighting on the tribute, it is not as bright as you would think. Although I agree in general, I have a Livewire Dalek and I almost go F-ing if I look right at it.

    That is hilarious and awesome....

    Synthbaron...you have obviously not played with the blue light version, they are soooo mellow and nice, they used super foggy buttons to scatter the light and it's not overpowering at all. I mean i have shitty PC speakers with the overly bright blue LEDs so i know what you mean but you come to realize its not the blue LEDs that are the problem, it's the manufacturer and how they deal with the brightness issue
