"Pearl Syncussion synthetic drum module. Renowned or notorious (depending on your point of view) for some of the classic 70's and 80's synth drum sounds. Should work with triggers using standard 1/4" plugs, or, as the original brochure says "microphones can be connected to either input", with a 1/4" connector of course. Mono output.
More information on this unit is available here and a download of the original product brochure is available here which gives an overview of the various functions."
I use one. You can create plenty of sounds. Not just a drum synthesizer. The sound is great.
ReplyDeleteHello! Do you still own it? I would like to buy or exchange the recording of the original sounds. I'm planning a Vst and i would like to study the tuning range, sweep range, waveforms and so on. So I would need like 15 one hit recordings. If yo're interested on selling or exchanging, please contact me at vpavia@gmail.com Regards.
DeleteVery limited overhyped machine. For the price, just buy a small monosynth with a noise source. You can get the same sounds, without the poor build quality.
ReplyDeletethe sy-1 is equivalent of 2 monosynth. It' s built in wood and steel .
ReplyDeleteThe price is a real bargain
Nothing beats the syncussion in drums (only a sds-3).
ReplyDeleteyou can create really old sci sounds as stated in the review.
ReplyDeleteAnybody who says a syncussion is overhyped doesn't own one.
