ReplyDeleteyou certainly do
link doesnt work for me
ReplyDeletehex.. that was pointless.
ReplyDeleteNone of us would be here posting right now if it wasn't for people like Wendy.
very good interview...i like that she has opinions and a sense of humor...i also like that she talks about music and life intertwined...many of the comments she makes about life pertain to music and vice-versa. now if only iTunes had her collection for sale...
ReplyDelete> hexfix93 is a consistant, yet entertaining source of stupidity.
ReplyDeleteI concur.
I really like the Momus song about Wendy Carlos.
ReplyDeleteI sing it often. Great song. Wendy sued him.
Momus is quite great.
yah, that is a funny song...
ReplyDeleteahahaahah. just kidding guys.. i honestly don't know the first thing about her :)
ReplyDeletei should look her up on wikki :)

ReplyDelete"wiki says wendy had a sex change? ehehehe is this true?

>None of us would be here posting right now if it wasn't for people like Wendy.
ReplyDeleteAccording to my album collection, it was Walter...
Come on, its not like she's bob moog.. sure she was influential but not a founding father like moog was..
ReplyDeletei saw a list of her work, and honestly. i'm not a huge fan. but yeah, she is talented..
I need to know Wendy's position of Cats on Synths.
ReplyDeleteThat is what I need to know.
"None of us would be here posting right now if it wasn't for people like Wendy."
ReplyDeleteYeah, if Wendy Carlos had not blown up that meteor headed for earth with those oil drillers in space... we would all be dead!
wait... wasn't that walter who stopped the alien offensive?
ReplyDeletewhat a cavalcade of trollitude.
ReplyDeleteFYI Bob Moog probably couldn't have hit it as big as he did (and thus had all the influence he's had) if it wasn't for Carlos putting "Switched-On Bach" into the hands and minds of millions- well, lots of people. It is all tied together.
i'd hit it
ReplyDeletethis place feels like home....ahh, back at TGS
ReplyDeleteNo, TGS is low traffic, some nitwit, some genius.
ReplyDeleteHere it's high traffic, high nitwit, no genius.
Based on some photos of cats on her (old?) Web site, I will venture that Wendy is very pro-Synthcats.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to keep listening to her 'Secrets of Synthesis' CD until I understand it. :-)
