ReplyDeleteI thought the mawzer was vapor ware.. ?
if it's on sale, finally, im not complaining..
yeh no doubt.. modular controllers are the ultimate idea.. i was also mourning the death of mawzer.. glad to hear of the greatly exaggarated status
ReplyDeleteso excellent.. this is "wet your pants" level stuff IMO
fixed
ReplyDeletefantastic, excellent product!
ReplyDeleteI'd like a bigger working surface than their first 'suit-case' allows.
ReplyDeleteThis looks pretty cool tho. Hope the modules don't get loose and wiggly.
I wonder if they're using the dallas semiconductor 'one wire' line to implement the controls. URL: http://www.maxim-ic.com/products/1-wire/
If I were designing one of these, I'd use the 1-wire stuff for sure.
I like the idea. There does appear to be a trade-off in size or features density for modularity... but I'm having a hard time determining the size of the box from the website.
ReplyDeleteI'll see if I can dig up the video I saw on CDM
bummer - they took the XY pads out of the config... i wanted them for Zebra2!
ReplyDeletei hope they'll add new modules like the xy soon.
ReplyDeletelooks neat, but i'm thinking lemur is more cool.
