"beta testing proof of concept...not a performance, just sequence, filter, and knob twiddling. Sounds incredible in real life... need to find a better camera mic."

I am so tempted to buy 2 E&F's so I can do stereo.
ReplyDeleteThe separate compression of each channel could be used to create some crazy spatial effects I think.
Shag! That Rules! Wow, the Ebb and Flute was making serious Industrial/IDM out of that drum synth.
ReplyDelete*shakes fist* Damn you Schippmann and your $2k stairway to heaven!
ReplyDeleteHaJo Liese of EL-KA (http://el-ka.synthmusic.info) also uses the Manikin Schrittmacher and the Vermona Drums. He also drives his Vermona Perfourmer from the Schrittmacher.
ReplyDeleteWe (he and I ) just had a gig in Eindhoven/NL) using this combination. Here is a picture from it (HaJo at the right, me on the left):

Hey Till, thanks for the post...what a nice set-up you guys have. Did you record the concert? I would (of course) die to hear it, or a portion of it maybe? Let me know if there is a link you can share for the audio...
ReplyDeleteI'll be using this, hopefully soon, at some nice venues here in San Diego, live with a few other great electronica musicians...we're still making arrangements though.. (no pun intented)
Hello Shagghie,
ReplyDeletethe concert was recorded. But we don't have yet decsided on how to publish it (CD or for free as download).
But all other recordings on our homepage use the Schrittmacher and the double Vermona rack. See the first link of my first posting here.
And yes, the page is german. But it is easy to find the downloads for the music.
