via this auction
Details:
A classic analog synthesizer IC, the second product by SSM.
Designed in 1975 by Ron Dow (SSM) and Dave Rossum (E-mu systems).
If you know what synths used this chip, feel free to comment. I checked both Synthtech.com (MOTM) and sequencer.de and did not find the chip listed.

It is a single VCA ic.
ReplyDeleteFor the techies out there here is the datasheet:
http://www.emulatorarchive.com/assets/PDF/SSM2010.pdf
the bottom marking is most likely production timecode, 15th week of 1978.... I was a child :-)
Found it.
ReplyDeleteIt was used in a revision of a VCA module for the E-mu modular, back in 1980.
