All Your Bass (999 + 777 + MESA PA)
YouTube via shagghie.
"Running the 999's HT through the 777's filter input. Using BlackBoxStudios 's main PA room. Some red bulls. Oh, and yes, for those in the know, this is the very SN#6x6 that Guns n Roses owned at one point. The only factory brushed aluminum unit to leave Jered's skunkworks. LED and knobs modded by me. Muffler mod by Jered out of the factor."

That 777 looks so damn good. I know its a low bit rate movie but i didnt like what i just heard.
ReplyDeleteFor the life of me, why can't people turn on lights when they shoot synth videos? Other than that it was nice to hear the audio.
ReplyDeleteneeds more swirling ambient pads
ReplyDeletenice finish on the 777 although I like the black one too...

ReplyDeleteI agree, the sound was bad, the groove itself was very basic and unrefined. It really does boil down to a gear pron video WRT to the silver FR-777. We've since renamed that machine 'the mothership', as in "He's piloting the mothership at the moment on that bassline", etc.
Correction to orignal text: I cannot verify that G&R actually owned this synth, but they may have been the ones to originally have 'requested' it. More info on this particular unit on Jered's site:

We'll be doing a live set at DefCon in Vegas at the Riviera in early August if anyone wants to fondle the mothership, just drop me a line ahead of time.
