of all the styles of bend wheels ive ever seen, that without a doubt has to be the coolest.
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine has a broken one. i always thought that lever was cool too.
ReplyDeleteNightmare to work on. I would avoid at this price.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a 'cellar' special!
ReplyDeleteThey're ALL broken.
ReplyDeleteI used to have one of these and the polyphony was awful. When you stopped playing a chord with a long release time it would jump the the last note.
ReplyDeleteNot a bad sound, just a bit crap to play.
"nightmare to work on"?
ReplyDeletei thought it was pretty service friendly! it opens easily, most everything is accessible; all ICs are socketed and uses mostly single-sided PCBs. the only part inside it that you might have any trouble finding is the Top-Octave divider. Oh and now maaayyyybbeee the ca3080s.
i bought mine for 50 bucks with no poly or VCF and 1 Osc out. fixed it for less than a buck in minutes.
