What the hell is going on in that video?
ReplyDeleteThe League of Urban Musical Robots built a whole orchestra of actuated robotics that play instruments. They are based in Brooklyn.
ReplyDeleteA piece was commissioned and Morton Subotnick, JG "Foetus" Thirlwell, They Might Be Giants, and others composed music for the robots and their own instruments.
Lemurplex had 4 nights of concerts featuring the full set from each musician- see the link above for more info and videos.
Morton Subotnick finished his piece by dancing with the robots.
