  1. Sort of shameful, I think, to be splitting up a system like this. Might make good 'building materials' for someone working on expanding their existing Moog system in this manner, but it sure doesn't result in two workable pieces of hardware. One half's lacking the power supply, the other's got no VCAs. Boo.

  2. I guess you either need to win both auctions to have a working system, or already own some moog modular gear.

    Meh. Who needs VCAs, anyway?

  3. STOLEN, 95% sure.

  4. What's the clue that it's stolen? The seller's lack on knowledge or the description if where it came from? Is there a university posting a lost Moog?

  5. is there any evidence that this is stolen other than the missing power interconnect and a really strong feeling that there's a third cabinet and a keyboard controller that go with this thing?

it's a really weird module complement, and there are no trigger or CV routing panels. neither is there a mixer to be seen.

  6. You should not directly accuse the seller/owner of stealing unless you have the evidence to back it up. If you are wrong that makes you the guilty one, guilty of libel that is. However it is interesting to speculate on it's validity. The seller will not reveal any additional information what so ever, no additional details about it, it's origin or history, and apparently according to some, will not respond to emails, or give their name or phone number. So even if the auction is valid, would you pay thousands to a complete stranger that will not even communicate with you or identify themselves. Might as well go to Las Vegas.

  7. Looks nice! The first indication of stolen property would be missing serial numbers. They all seem to be there with photos to prove it. I'll bid on this one!
