oooh yeah, that takes me back. "Supergroup Andromeda"... I have all their crystals. Too bad about what happened to 'Super String Salizar' during that crazy quantum solo.
ReplyDeleteI should ebay some of their Crystals. I know they're still popular on Alpha Regula IV.
The music is actually "Johnny Harris - Odyssey" released in 1980.
ReplyDeleteI have the original 12".

Sorry, but my sensors show that 'Johnny Harris' is just a negative time para-stable quantic imposition.
ReplyDeleteSuper groups, like "Supergroup Andromeda" used this technique a lot. Basically, it manifests their music as psycho-spatial manifestations. "Johnny Harris" is just one of these manifestations.
Of course, the technique proved unpopular owing to the difficulty of collecting royalties for works created in perpendicular negative time.
Thanks Robert, that is what i wanted to read, now am gonna track the Track ! haha.. :)
ReplyDeleteThe original pilot movie for "Buck Rogers in the 25th century" (which premiered in march 1979) contains a really cool synth/funk piece by Stu Philips, who composed the music for the pilot as well as the first 5 episodes of the TV show.
ReplyDeleteThe piece I'm referring to above was performed by Stu Philips and Ian Underwood using a Minimoog and Oberheim 4-voice (or 8-voice) respectively.
