  2. I'm with Tuesday. That's a Voyager, or a Minimoog Voyager, but it most certainly is not a Minimoog. And don't bring the opinions of the deceased into it. I'm sure George Lucas has a thousand arguments why the new Star Wars movies are better as well.

    No, it IS a Minimoog, just not a model D. Moog music's website lists it as "Minimoog Voyager". You yourself called it a Minimoog. It's a minimoog.

  5. You know, they had this contest to name it before it came out. I guess the prize was supposed to be one of them. You couldn't use "Moog" in the name probably because the legal issues still wrapping up. Anyway so I sent in "Voyager" to the contest But I didn't even win a bumper sticker.

    On the other hand now you can't blame me if you don't like it or the name, though it is a quite good synth and I waited years to get one second hand since I wasn't about to pay for one full price after sort of naming it in a contest where it was the prize.

    Then again if you call it simply a "Minimoog" then you just confuse people as to what you are talking about
