Optigan Vocal Choir (Vox Humana Disc)

"Super-rare Vox Humana disc on the 1970's Matell Optigan optical organ. Features cello sounds, pipe organ and sampled real human voices. This is the same sample used on the orchestron that kraftwerk used for many famous tracks, including Radioactivity, Show Room Dummies, etc..."

Thanks for this ... always curious about this "holy grail." Me, I'm still lookin' to stumble across a "Majestic Pipe Organ" disc. :-/
ReplyDeleteBe thankful your pitch wheel is as stable as it is - my studio's current Optigan gets quite crabby when the pitch is altered.
God damn I really REALLY want an optigan. I'd take one over a mellotron any day
ReplyDeleteI have this disc. It's pretty damn nice. I also have the majestic pipe organ disc - have never really found a use for that particular disc so I'm open to offers.
