To reduce spam, comments for posts older than one week are not displayed until approved, usually same day. Do not insult people. For items for sale, do not ask if it is still available. Check the auction link and search for the item. Auctions are from various sellers and expire over time. Posts remain for the pics and historical purposes. This site is meant to be a daily snapshot of some of what was out there in the world of synths.

The oblong black box sitting on top of Froese's Mellotron Mk IV is a Synthanorma sequencer.
ReplyDeleteKlaus Schulze used an identical model during the mid '70s, and Kraftwerk had a heavily modified version.
Here's a better view of Froese's Synthanorma:

It also looks like Franke has an ARP 2600 next to the 'Big Moog'. You can only see the back, and I'm not sure if the keyboard is present somewhere, or if he's triggering it someother way. But I'm pretty sure that's what it is. I wish TD still used all this gear. They might still be an interesting band...
ReplyDeleteno, I'm wrong. It's not an Arp- I was looking at the picture stretched to fit my screen. It looks like a Moog module. My bad.
