  1. Will it come with a full compliment of illegally sampled beats and melodie so we can be the laughing stock of audio forums everywhere just like that jackass?

The guy has publicly said that he doesn't give a shit about copyright.

  5. I am curently taking classes to become a pop music producer similar to Timbaland. Especially now tht hip hop has been the norm for pop for a while now, and ever growing.
I must say that while I do love music and enjoy it to it's fullest extent, I really don't care about the music I would make as much as the potential cash I will hopefully get.
I understnd both sides of the coin but just don't want to be a guy who sits in my room unable to pay my next credit card bill cause I've bought so much gear that I can't even pay for it.
I come from a background based on hard work and am in school on scholarship and I really admire producers like Timbaland and Kanye who are in it mainly for the money, and perhaps a little enjoyment of the music.
But this is the music bidness, your either in it for the music or your in it for the bidness.
I aspire to do both, but bidness first.
    Peas.
    I'm out...

  6. I wonder if it comes with a SID chip emulator, and a broadband connection to rip off demoscene musicians in real time.

    That would be awesome.

  7. Openlabs keep coming up with new ways to keep me from buying their products.

What we need now is for Richard Devine to drop in and set Timbaland on fire (remember last year's publicity stunt?)

  8. I dunno what's worse: ripping off people without giving any credit... or getting up on a soapbox to thump the copyright bible.

Dudes... if you want to make a lot of money you have to rip someone off (that's called Capitalism).

Show me an "original" idea and I'll show you an obscure source that's been ripped off. No idea's original.

  10. The other day I was working on a track and came across the "tribal" loop in the Bjork track, "Earth Intruders", that he produced. What a joke! He didn't even cut it up. It was straight out of Stylus RMX. At the same time it is a killer track so I kind of have to say that its not the tools, its how you use them.

Side note: it'd be hilarious to see a ton of people make tracks with that loop.

  11. Hideous product, but they do make a good bonfire.

Does it come with a model of Guy Fawkes so I can torch it?

Who would want such a POS? I bet it's the type of person that buys a USB cup warmer and all those other crap convergance products.

Overpriced rubbish, but if you are a Timberlame wannabe then go for it.

  12. I wonder if the MiKo LX "Timbaland Edition" boots up showing the Assembly demo party website!

Does Finnish to English translator make it to the feature list?

  13. wow haven't seen such contempt for a product in some time, ouch!

  14. I am surprised that they have not been able to get their UI to run on Vista.

  15. Yeah, I don't think that putting timbalands name on it is going to help sales. If anything it will hurt sales. I would assume that the people who would buy a Miko are not fans of crap like that.

Oh well, you never know. The same kids that ran out to buy Tritons when they heard their favourite artist used one, or all the kids that ran out and bought ASR10's the second Kanye said he used one, might run out to buy this to "sound like timbaland" Although I don't know why anyone would want to sound like that scmuck.

  16. If this is the biggest news for summer namm then thats pathetic.

  17. Yeah it is. I think this is the worst Summer NAMM ever. For comparison, I think I did 50 posts the day of Winter NAMM. I've been watching, and that's pretty much it folks. Hopefully Winter will be better.
