Synth content? A while back I heard synths were featured in the film Breakin' and/or Breakin2' Electric Boogaloo. I think it was mentioned on a gas-station thread. I was wondering if anyone out there has seen the movies and can comment on any synth content. These along with Fame are on my list of movies with synth cameos I must see one day. Hmm... Synth movie list post coming up...

Breakin' was a bad west-coast rip-off of Beat Street.

Thanks guys. Post updated. Fred Astaire vs. Gene Kelly is definitely not my expertise. What's funny is I found the video searching on Fred Astaire and Singing in the Rain. I wonder if the dance was in reference to anything Fred Astaire has done considering the comment in the beginning of the clip. Would have been cool if the comment was on Gene Kelly instead. I thought the similarities between the side step moonwalk thing where he quickly glides down the sidewalk matched Kelly's quick walk down the sidewalk and then of course theres the trickery with the broomstick which matches the umbrella.
