Bullcrap.
ReplyDeletei wonder if "bullcrap" qualifies as a comment....
ReplyDeleteMatrix needs to clean up ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis module was now replaced by the 261e, price new is also 1400 $. I don't think this auctions is exceeding the price (like many others do...) - this piece is very rare.
wow, thats what i paid for my truck.
ReplyDeleteThese aren't out of production, I've taken delivery of three in recent times. They were removed from the site and stopped prod for a short bit but demand has been very high for this osc so they did another run.
ReplyDeleteIt's true, call them, you can still order and get new 259e modules.
ReplyDeleteThe 259e is VERY underrated. The 261e is nice in an retro-analog way, and it is more like classic 259. But if you learn to control the 259e, it will take you to timbre space you didn't think was possible on a modular - for instance, it does an amazing banjo.
ReplyDeleteOMG I just had this startling realization.
ReplyDeleteImagine if this module was 8 feet high.
That would totally be the best size for this module.
It would be like, "hello visitor to my house, you may enter any room, but not the 259e room, that room is off limits, attempt no landing there' and the visitor would be like Adam and Eve and like go to the room and you'd have to cast them out with a chastising finger of shame bellowing "no synthesis for you" and it would be a sad bus trip home for your visitor.
8 FEET
you, need help, or maybe just cut back on the med's.
ReplyDeleteYou need to learn the uses of the comma and the apostrophe.
