Buchla Electric Music Box

YouTube via wotgorila.
"This is an old Vintage Buchla Electric Music Box was rescued from a dumpster and reconditioned by my friend chuck. As you can see, it takes a while to set up, chances are the previous owners could only get it to make fart noises and chucked it."

Update video re-posted here.

  6. My neighborhood dumpsters only contain old beige computer cases, eggshells, coffee grounds and rotting potato peelings. Next year, I'm planning to move to a better neighborhood where you find TB-303s at garage sales and modulars in dumpsters.

  7. My best find dumpster diving was something called an 'absorbing clamp' that I sold to a company in Switzerland for $5 grand US.

A PM-S'd up buchla would be so much sweeter.

  11. I found an old Rhodes 88-key electric piano on the street waiting to get picked up by the garbage truck. All it needed was a new fuse. $300. Meh.
