  1. the glide bit makes me think of Jimmy Page's work on Deathwish 2

  2. nice breakdown. thanks. you know that most pots are self cleaning right? so you just need to move it back and forth the full length about 30-50 times and it will clean out all of the debris. don’t use cleaners if you can avoid it, but if you can give it time to dry a little distilled water on a q-tip will get the really bad stuff. give it more then enough time to dry after though, that would be a costly mistake :)

  3. They look nice but the sound is nothing special IMHO, I think it would be easy to create those sounds on most analog synths, you could buy a lot of monosynths for the same price :) Also the pedals would annoy me, I'd prefer a keyboard :\

  4. ive seen sets like that used nicely. there was a detroit three piece that played at the magic stick a lot. the guitarist/singer and bassist/singer both also played sets like these with different melodies the whole time. it sounded great but must have been hella hard. they were truly on to something but they stopped doing it. a lot of detroit indie bands tried to move to a raw rock sound because of the white stripes, von bondies, and others like the strokes. it was sad because they sounded like shit. there was a shoegazer band called the variac band that retooled all thier nice droning songs into an acdc sounding style. nice way not to get asked back.
